Teams from the Liverpool FC International Academy Cyprus, representing the Limassol and Nicosia segments, won the 2013 Lions age category at the 2nd Elite Future Stars Tournament, which was held from October 27 to 29, 2023, organized by the Gymnastic Association Ta Pagkypria (GSP) in Nicosia.

The tournament featured 56 teams across 11 different age categories and was attended by hundreds of fans. The EFS provided children and their academies with the opportunity to prepare at a competitive, high level in anticipation of their participation in the Grassroots championships of the Cyprus Football Association (KOP), which are set to begin on the weekend of November 4-5, 2023. The Liverpool FC IA Cyprus teams from Limassol and Nicosia shared the top spot in the "2013 Lions" group.

The tournament was graced by the presence of coaches Dan Gavin and Ellis Nickson from the official Liverpool FC Academy in England. Additionally, the former Liverpool FC ace, captain, and manager of the Irish national team, Steve Staunton, was in attendance on Saturday and Sunday. The English coaches observed matches in all age categories, engaged in discussions, and exchanged views with coaches and the children participating in the tournament. On Monday, October 30, they conducted a special training camp for children aged 6-13 at the GSP Stadium, organized by Liverpool FC IA Cyprus.
